Top 2 impactful things in cannabis with Hirsh Jain & Mike Siebold

by Mike Siebold

Cannabis. We evolve slowly and imperfectly. Working inside the mechanics of an industry that is simultaneously taking flight and caving in is less a feeling and more a spectrum: from exuberant to naive, disheartening to discombobulating. For those of us who’ve been at it for a long enough time, you try to stifle your excitement because it hurts when whatever development you were witnessing, abruptly breaks apart.

Here’s the irony: We know we’re all right. Now, we are just wondering how early we are. One of the better courses of action is to pursue and understand the politics of growth, and, more importantly, master the skill of bringing the future back to our present moment.

Hirsh Jain is our cannabis Jedi master when discussing and dissecting the politics of growth. His predictions, specifically for Florida and Ohio, which we discuss below, have some of the largest ramifications for both the political and commercial attitudes and communities of the American cannabis conversation. Listen and learn; he’s the Truth. We get into:

  • Why Florida and Ohio will lead the red wave that's about to sweep the country
  • Why Ohio adult-use rollout is primed to be successful based on Missouri
  • How the distinct cultures within Ohio will cause a ripple effect
  • The impact of having both cannabis and abortion on the ballot
  • Sales projections and the regulatory climate
  • The Biden administration's influence on Florida adult-use vote
