Humanizing Business

Humanizing Business

Don’t worry – this isn’t another whitepaper.

In an ever-changing world driven by innovations in emerging technology, we’re putting human-centric insights at the center of the conversation.

Business Insider’s global proprietary research, “Humanizing Business: Transforming Tech, People First,” asked 2,000 professionals what they need to adopt digital transformation and how to market to them

We gleaned actionable insights and distilled the key findings into three focus areas: Personal Adoption, Corporate Implementation, and Education with Impact.

Book a meeting with our Consumer Research & Insights team for a full walkthrough of the findings.

Here’s what we found out

Personal Adoption

Modern professionals want to embrace emerging tech but need to feel empowered within the workplace. They’re 91% more likely to experiment with new tech at home than in corporate settings — a disconnect that can hinder professional growth and business innovation.

Companies can prepare their employees for success through hands-on, personalized training and empowering content.

Corporate Implementation

Digital transformation leaders (ironically) can’t rely on tech to train their workforce. A human-centered approach to education and training is required.

Employees realize future business success and competitive advantages rely on digital transformation, but three-quarters have not been trained on how to turn this vision into reality.

Investing in people-centric, hands-on training results in increased emerging tech adoption and heightened innovation.

Education with Impact

A human touch is key to closing this tech adoption gap.

Professionals seek relatable, humanized stories as 87% report that they are more likely to remember content centered on people. 9 in 10 respondents noted that they feel more confident speaking about complex tech topics after absorbing insights through a person-first lens.

Think about it — would you rather learn from a 20-page technical guide to generative AI or a snappy, digestible story featuring real examples and human insights?

Business Insider helps our partners reach an engaged audience at the right time – from emotion-led data targeting to personalizing the conversation surrounding tech.

This goes to show, while technological transformation and adaption is inevitable, how we (as leader) think about transformation has a lot to do with the People First and Technology is only a means to get there. The reality is that, if we embrace the idea of "people" we need to think how to enable everyone around us first can benefit from the technology before the technology itself.
