How Nourishment can Help Change the World with Shriti Pandey

“It’s so much about making sure you as a person feel nourished, so you as a founder can do the work.” 

The work of change is hard. Shriti Pandey, Acumen Fellow and Founder of Strawcture Eco, knows that firsthand. As a female in the construction industry, she’s often breaking barriers – and that’s where the strength of community comes into play.

In our conversation in September 2022, as part of Acumen’s “Imagine Dignity” events, Shriti shared how the diversity of the Acumen community and its focus on character has been critically important to her as she builds her business. “Just to have each other to talk to, to check on each other? That’s where I get a lot of my strength from,” she notes. 

Shriti has had an amazing career trajectory, with top-notch education and opportunities. Yet she decided to not just build a company, but disrupt a system.
