"The Worf of Wall Street" This is extreme, but the point is...these guys are excited to take action!

"Gooble, Gobble, One Of Us...."

For some of you, May marks the month where you really begin to take a look at what you're going to do this summer. The weather is getting nicer, the days are getting longer and your confidence is building... "Yeah, I think I'm gonna do one of those Tri-atha-lons this summer."

Well, that's fantastic. All you have to do now is choose a race in this ever increasingly saturated market. When we began, way back in 2004, there weren't many triathlons. In fact, we picked the end of August for the inaugural Tri the Wildwoods because there wasn't a single triathlon within 250 miles at that time of year. Now, there are dozens.

I digress.

If you're searching the web for a race, you're probably going to come across us, DelMoSports. You're going to visit our site, delmosports.com, and then you'll wonder "What type of athlete do I need to be in order to sign up for Escape the Cape, or the Atlantic CIty Triathlon, or Tri the Wildwoods, or Ironman 70.3 Atlantic City or Escape to Lewes Open Water Classic?" This is a great question and I can answer in complete detail:

If you have a pulse, you can do this.

Yup. It's that simple. To date, we've had two Olympians (Jarod Shoemaker and Joe Maloy) and many professional triathletes race with us. We have had Ironman caliber triathletes, former NCAA champion runners, marathoners, ultra-marathoners, super-cyclists, and long distance swimmers compete in our events. HOWEVER, they don't compare to... the everyday, normal person who decides, "I can do this" and the person who has NO IDEA what their doing... and that makes our races SO MUCH BETTER then we could have imagined!

Yup. That's you. In regards to the athletic feats listed above, you're most likely a regular person... therefore you can do this. You can jump off the ferry, ride your bike down the expressway, swim in the ocean, and storm the boardwalks. YOU. CAN. DO. THIS.

You might not realize it, but you're one of us.
