Metereologic aspects are critical to the sport, not only because you absolutely need a minimum of 10 kt of wind to kiteboarding, but also for sefety reasons. Tides may be dangerous because a low tide may discover a roch you did not supect it was there. Any other weather change may can lead to wind instabilities, wind shifts or drops. And these are all potentially dangerous situations. Never let the weather and meteorology out of your control. You must learn to know if there is wind and how the wind is by looking at the sea and how it will behave with a simple inspection of the sky. These are skills that you have to master, no matter if you are an instructor or a kiter.
