THE LAST DAYS DICHOTOMY OF PIGGISH CAPITALISM WITH LIFE SAVING EVANGELISM:

Trump, the GOP, and billionaire oligarchs have calculated that protecting their profits is more critical than saving hundreds of thousands of poor and minority lives. This profit-over-life mentality is the hideous side of capitalism and a naked demonstration that the love of money is the root of all evil. The raw corporate greed and unfairness pushed by Trump is to be expected when CEOs make 278 times the average worker, and CEO compensation rose 1,007.5% since 1978, compared with 11.9% for average workers.
Also, many working people are so indebted they must risk life to pay those debts. Otherwise, the corporate masters with their legal henchmen cometh. And then many people would be homeless if they don't risk their lives and go to work notwithstanding COVID-19. This sad dilemma is why the Bible says, "The rich rule the poor, and the borrower is servant to the lender." Proverbs 22:7.
However, there's even worse news. The global economy is subject to crash anyways when the anchor economy of the world, the US economy, will borrow another $3 trillion to cover this last bailout, which will bring the total US debt to around $27 trillion. I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but according to the Word of God much, much worse days are ahead. Even these days aren't our new normal. Our new normal will keep deteriorating.
There is good news depending on where or with whom you place your hope and trust. If your hope and trust are in Christ, then here's the first piece of good news. As we see these awful things happening on the earth, it indicates the Rapture of the Church is near. Second, the Holy Spirit is inspiring His Body to use social media to preach the Gospel and extend the Kingdom of God all over the world, even in remote areas. Consequently, millions of people are turning to Christ. That's really, really awesome!
Until the Lord suddenly appears to rescue His Church from the mind blowing times of the Great Tribulation period, the safest and wisest choice is to get/stay in the secret place of the Most High God, under the shadow of the Almighty. Psalm 91.
