Employee Spotlight Series: Jacqueline Easton
- How long have you been at Kyyba? I have worked at Kyyba for 10 years. (9 years, 6 months if we are being technical)
- Can you tell us a bit about your role at the company? As the office manager here, I wear many hats. I handle all administrative duties ensuring that the office runs smoothly, and I serve as a liaison between different departments. My role involves a lot of multitasking and problem-solving, as I often find myself tackling new projects and challenges. In essence, I'm the behind-the-scenes orchestrator making sure everything at our company operates seamlessly.
- What is your favorite part about Kyyba? My favorite part about Kyyba is the flexibility I have with my hours. I also love the company culture and enjoy working with everyone. Kyyba embodies its core values in creating a positive atmosphere.
- If you could have a superpower that only works in the office, what would it be and how would you use it? Time Manipulation. I would be able to manipulate time perception, making time feel slower or faster for myself and colleagues. During crunch periods, I could slow down time to maximize productivity and minimize stress. Conversely, during less busy periods, I could speed up time to create the illusion of shorter workdays.
- What's the most rewarding part of your job? The most rewarding part of my job is completing challenging tasks and achieving goals resulting in a sense of accomplishment. At Kyyba, I am never bored.
- Can you share a fun fact about yourself? I was 14 when I got my first job at a restaurant, which helped me develop leadership, communication and listening skills.
- What's your favorite aspect of our company culture? My favorite aspect of Kyyba's culture is that there are so many different job mobility opportunities for each individual. For example, I have worked in Administrative, Project Management, and Human Resources. #empowerment
- If our office was a TV show, which character – from any sitcom, drama, or reality show (past or present) – would represent you? Sarah Rafferty as Donna Paulsen from the legal drama series Suits.
