  • DOE Details Its Path Forward for AI to Enhance the Grid - The energy agency is contemplating applying AI to improve the productivity and efficiency of the electrical grid, more effectively anticipate problems, and speed up the permitting process - all in an effort to bolster a more reliable, cleaner grid.
  • Executives, Directors Highlighting Sustainability in the Boardroom - 42% of executives view sustainability as a top three issue, with 1 in 5 seeing it as their organization’s highest priority; and while building a more sustainable business requires long-term investment, measurement and accountability, an accelerated net zero transition presents $43T in potential global economic gains by 2070.
  • ISSB, ESRS Interoperability Guidance Published - In a helpful step towards reduced complexity, fragmentation and duplication, the IFRS Foundation and EFRAG recently released materials on how a company aligning to the International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB) standards and European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS) can apply both, including detailed analysis on climate-related disclosures.
