Many thanks to everyone who joined us at our latest event in #Dublin #Ireland! We hosted a panel with industry experts Paul Colgan, Heather Kelly, Evelyn Healy, Kate Waddell and ☁️Ronan Guilfoyle to discuss the #sustainability of expertise, #talent and skills in the #Telco, #Media and #Tech (#TMT) sector in Ireland. Our key takeaways: ⭐ AI is boosting #innovation, from improving productivity to automating routine tasks, giving the workforce more time to nurture creativity and new ideas. It’s also promoting inclusion through AI-powered tools that can boost accessibility and tailor education to individual needs ⭐ Alongside its opportunities, AI is creating concern around displacing jobs and widening the digital divide. With this in mind, the industry must invest in #STEM education and encourage lifelong learning to equip the workforce for ongoing transformation ⭐ Policy and regulation are a cornerstone in shaping the digital economy through ethical guidelines and inclusive policies to ensure AI development benefits all ⭐ Collaboration is crucial in scaling AI, including public-private partnerships, community engagement and education. Schools, for example, need to consider where future roles are heading – steering learning towards topics, such as robotics, computing, programming, design and engineering Overall, it was a thought-provoking discussion that carried on into our post-panel networking drinks. We hope you enjoyed the evening! Stay tuned for our upcoming lineup of events, including more summer drinks, speed #networking and inspiring fireside chats.
