🌞 Recently we had an absolute blast at our VERBI Summer Party at Beach Mitte! 🌴 The day was filled with a lot of fun activities. We climbed to new heights at MountMitte, played exciting matches of volleyball and table tennis, and enjoyed a variety of board games that brought out everyone's competitive spirit. 🧗♂️🏐🏓🎲 We were fortunate to have great weather - much better than the weather we're experiencing now! ☀️ It was a fantastic day full of laughter, team bonding, and memorable moments. 🌟 Balancing Leadership & Parenthood at VERBI: Julia Gerson🌟 As a soon-to-be mom of three, I've experienced firsthand how a nurturing work environment can make all the difference. From my days as a working student over a decade ago, through my journey in MAXQDA support and marketing, to my current role as Head of Product Management, VERBI has supported my growth every step of the way. It’s not just a policy; it’s a practice that empowers parents like me to thrive without compromise. 🏡 Hybrid Work Perks On my home office days, I save a lot of time on the commute, which means I can eat breakfast with my kids and ride our bikes to school together. The flexibility to structure my day means I can be present for both my family and my team, so I don't miss a beat on either front. 🤝 Leadership Rooted in Empathy At VERBI, empathy isn’t just a buzzword—it’s a core part of how we operate. Many of our leadership roles, including our CEO, are filled by parents of young children. This shared experience fosters a deep understanding and mutual support system among us. We’ve been there, navigating the first steps, school plays, and unexpected sick days, all while steering our company forward. Die letzten zwei Wochen hatten wir Clara für ein Berufsorientierungspraktikum bei uns. 🧭 Sie tauchte in verschiedene Themen des People & Workplace Teams ein und lernte dabei unsere VERBIs kennen. Nicht nur für sie brachte die gemeinsame Zeit wichtige Einblicke und Erkenntnisse. 💡 Neben eigenen Projekten, haben diese Fragen Clara beschäftigt: Was wird eigentlich bei einem Bewerbungsgespräch genau unter die Lupe genommen? 🔎 Wie organisiert man eine Sommerfeier, die allen in Erinnerung bleibt? ☀️ Was haben die VERBIs studiert oder gelernt - was kommt davon für sie in Frage? 🎓 Für uns war es auf jeden Fall toll, Clara bei VERBI zu treffen.
