🚀Media Literacy Clubs Comeback In 2021, a promising initiative commenced in Ukraine – the establishment of pilot media literacy clubs aimed at empowering communities to develop media literacy. Crafted by the collaborative efforts of Internews Ukraine and the Filter Media Literacy Project were the seeds of a movement that promised to sharpen peoples' collective ability to discern truth in media. Although the full-scale Russian invasion put these efforts on hold, the need for media savvy has only grown. 💫Now, Internews Ukraine and the National Media Literacy Project "Filter" are reigniting this mission with the support of UNDP Ukraine and generous funding from Japan - The Government of Japan. 📣We're reaching out to those who have a knack for media, a spark for leadership, and a drive to cut through the noise of misinformation. 💪It's about coming together to learn, share, and collaboratively peel back the layers of the news we consume. 📌We start with foundational training in media literacy and fundraising this December, equipping you to lead the charge in your communities. 😎Feeling ready to make an impact? Sign up via the link 🔗 http://bit.ly/3T4hLAt and help us fortify our communities against misinformation. 💪As we resume our journey with the media literacy clubs, the significance of this initiative resonates more than ever. Your contribution now is not just timely—it's crucial. #MediaLiteracy #CommunityLeadership #UNDP #UkraineResilience #communication #ukraine #community #fakenews #disinformation #information #media
