December 3rd is International Day of People with Disabilities. This years theme is "United in action to rescue and achieve the Sustainable Development Goals for, with and by persons with disabilities". As The Divas With Disabilities Project stated: "Disability is not a punishment or some kind of tragedy. We need to be understood, included, represented, and have access to equitable opportunities.
