Presso la nostra sede di San Gennaro Vesuviano si è tenuto il secondo incontro formativo finalizzato ad accrescere le nostre competenze specifiche sulle #nocciole. In particolare, nell’ambito del Dottorato di Ricerca Industriale della dott.ssa Flavia de Benedetta che vede coinvolti da un lato noi di V.Besana e dall’altro il #CNR e l’#Università Federico II, un team rappresentativo dei reparti di produzione e qualità ha partecipato a un panel test finalizzato ad accrescere le competenze per le #caratteristiche organolettiche delle nocciole. Matteo Giaccone PhD #hazelnuts #training #partnership At our headquarters in San Gennaro Vesuviano, the second training meeting was held with the aim of enhancing our specific skills on #hazelnuts. In particular, as part of Dr. Flavia de Benedetta's Industrial Research Doctorate, which involves us at V.Besana on the one hand and the #CNR and the #Università Federico II on the other, a representative team from the production and quality departments took part in a panel test aimed at increasing their skills in the #organoleptic characteristics of hazelnuts. 📆 Yesterday, the 9th Almond and Hazelnut Meeting, organised by SAB-Almendrave, was held with the participation of Riccardo Calcagni, CEO of V. Besana Spa, and Gaspar Alapont, 1st Vice-President of SAB - Almendrave and Head of National Almond Purchasing at Importaco. 📍 This annual forum, which brought together more than 2️⃣ 0️⃣ 0️⃣ sector professionals and representatives of the value chain, revolved around key issues such as hashtag #sustainability, water management and trends in the nut market. At the round table 'Nut markets' we were able to talk extensively about the trends, opportunities and challenges of the industry. In addition, Rafael Garcia Arias, director of hashtag #ImportacoTerra, explained why our hashtag #almonds are sustainable and contribute to hashtag #biodiversity. #almondandhazelnutsmeeting

Last week we held our annual convention at Importaco, where we analysed the challenges of the past year and the results detailed in the annual report. The convention brought together 265 managers from 10 different nationalities, 42% of whom were women. 📊 2023 has been a very important year in our path of consolidation and growth, and represents the starting point to achieve the objectives for 2024, which were presented in the annual plan made up by Alberto Gallardo Alamillo, CEO of #Importaco. 🗣 In the words of our president, Toño Pons: "2023 has been a year full of challenges that we have overcome thanks to our efforts to improve our processes. I would like to thank all the #people who have made this possible, especially our collaborators for their efforts, and our customers for their trust". During the event, the #Excellence Award 🏆 was presented, aimed at recognising the commitment of the teams, the versatility and the innovation allowing to improve product quality.
