The Army must be prepared to operate across the information spectrum to keep ahead of its adversaries, the commander of Army Cyber Command said. In opening remarks July 2 at a Hot Topic on cyber and information advantage hosted by the Association of the U.S. Army, Lt. Gen. Maria Barrett said there is “persistent conflict” in the information dimension. This means the Army must “think through” now how it will apply military power across the spectrum of conflict.

Interesting, it may be worth Information Proponent and ARCYBER planners looking at the lessons of the Department of War Information and Cold War Information activities found in case studies as well as the US Army 1994-1995 capability gaps analysis/study. They may find a lot of valuable information, TTPs, and best practices that could be matched with current capabilities. It's not the first time we have had Cyber like capabilities (CNO) and Information activities; C3CM, C3W, C2W, IW, IO.
