“We’ve taken modest steps forward, here in Bonn. But too many issues were left unresolved. We’ve left ourselves with a very steep mountain to climb to achieve ambitious outcomes in Baku.”    In his closing speech of the #JuneClimateMeetings, UN Climate Change Executive Secretary Simon Stiell called upon all countries to step up their climate action efforts ahead of #COP29 in Baku in November.    Reflecting on the progress made so far, he stressed the need to leave business-as-usual behind.    “Don’t leave the hardest work to the eleventh hour,” he urged delegates. “The secretariat will be with you every step of the way.”    Read the full speech here: bit.ly/4eftl41

If you want to end the climate change, you can begin with China, for example. Oh, China is part of the UN, so of course nothing will be made. The UN is corrupt and useless.

The goals of the UN on Climate Change is still alien to many ears, especially in my locale and so many other climes in Africa. Largely, underdeveloped countries of the world will find it difficult to place climate action on their priority list, owing to claims of bigger fish to fry- (the bigger fish in this context are, but not limited to; problems of feeding, earning, housing and illiteracy) However, the UN cannot do it all, countries & government will need to stand in the gap, encourage climate action, pass carbon credit/climate financing bill into law, mainstream roles/responsibilities in the climate discourse. Otherwise, while some parts of the world are working to mitigate and adapt to climate change, others will in addition to folding their hands, exacerbate the challenges of deforestation, burning of fossil fuels etc. As a climate actor in Nigeria, I have had to bend over backwards working my fingers to the bone, only to see just a little or no encouragement, but I won't give up. How about we advance this conversation to rural communities across board. I say this because that's where a large percentage of the forest resource base are, and unfortunately, that's where illiteracy is at its highest #COP29 #PADI #COP28

History is replete with hundred of examples of Flouting or to be softer, Ignoring commitment by the industrialised big economies as None of the Legally Binding Instruments could fully achieve their pledged goals. The dividing red line existing between mostly Global North and the developing economies of Global South has been exacerbated due to the Post-WW2 rising rift of ideological and political cold war ,surfaced blatantly with aggressive proxy regional wars of US and its Allies on one side and declared Authoritarian rulers of Russia and China withtheir tutelege governments worldwide. This scenario of Divided Planet earth has posed existential threats to mankind more vicious than any other visible potential natural debacles and so are diminishing the prospects of global Flow of Climate finance.

Try this out get a toy top and spin it the faster it spins the more it spins in a perfect spin, the slower it spins the more it will go balance, now get the same whit a same old top spin it but put a paper clip on it and it will go off balance too the same whit the world it as make it freezes on one side or the same whit the world and it's freezeing at the south pole and it's ice brugs".Now as in my 1.st leagger".I saed. Now we are slowly taking away a part of the pole.Maybe that is what they mean by"Give a inch take Mile."In this process you will be taking part of the world, changing it's climate and improving it as well. You may ask how this is possible?Well another vision has arrived by sending a fleet of ships, which has the capabilities of of stipping ocens of ice burgs with ease.We would of coarse use our Armed Forces to gather these ships and take the Army Corp.of Engineers whit us to the pole.By going down to the pole and chipping off some of the polar ice burgs we will be reshaping the earth's geological surface and balance in other words."Making yourself'Mother Natures best friend's lists for their own purposes I emailed algore.com for our environmental review of our country in the United states of america.

As the COP29 Azerbaijan is going to happen and the world remains focused on climate change, a critical connection is being overlooked: the devastating impact of the ongoing conflict in Gaza. While the humanitarian crisis and genocide that are being committed by Israel draw significant attention, the environmental catastrophe unfolding is equally alarming. Since last October, Israel has dropped over 70,000 tons of bombs on the Gaza Strip. The aftermath of such bombings renders land uninhabitable and infertile for decades. Imagine the long-term devastation in Gaza after being subjected to 70,000 tons of explosives. In just the first two months of the conflict, 281,000 tons of CO2 were released, a figure surpassing the annual carbon footprint of more than 20 of the world’s most climate-vulnerable nations. Initial reports indicated 25,000 tons of munitions were dropped in the first few weeks alone, equating to the annual greenhouse gas emissions of approximately 4,600 passenger vehicles. The silence about the environmental consequences of the conflict in Gaza is deafening. The world must recognize that the bombs falling in Gaza are not only a humanitarian disaster but also an environmental one resulting in a climate crisis.

Without a silver bullet that would literally hit the delegates' head, Flowery words won't do either to step up effort to combat global warming or to mitigate climate change. This doesn't mean to bragg, I think that a 30 min deliveration of THE 10 COMMANDMENTS OF CLIMATE CHANGE AND GLOBAL WARMING could convince the world more than the gentlemen elegant speech and that without mentioning the word FINANCES. They don't want to hear it and this word hurts, really, on their mind more than their pockets. Until the UN stop asking for budget, there's always a rather cold response. Try my idea, it doesn't require international budget but countries/locals' self healing process. THE 10 COMMANDMENT OF CLIMATE CHANGE AND GLOBAL WARMING is with the Holy See at the Vatican State for those who are interested.

Climate plans are great as long as they don't negatively affect birth rates and living conditions. Human development, population growth, free market capitalism and poverty alleviation is the first priority. Plenty of entities have come up in the past with doomsday dates and the world ending due to climate change or whatever but none of them have come true. Certain political parties come up with these to fulfill their own agenda. So keep the priorities straight. Human extinction, low birth rates and aging populations are the main threats right now.
