Late last year I had the opportunity to sit down with Michael Lashinsky, a Gartner analyst, and describe how my team in The AES Corporation is thinking about AI adoption from a use-case and talent perspective. That study was published last week--it's fair to say that the context around AI in the enterprise continues to move very fast, but I still think the beginnings of our framework is still useful. William amd Mary folks—I’m sure you’re getting inundated for One Tribe One Day; if you’re looking for a way to amplify any giving you’re doing today, don’t forget about the Washington Center scholarship fund (4290). A generous donor has pledged $25K if the center receives 130 donations—of any amount! I’ve been engaged with the DC center for the past couple years, and I have to say they’re great. More importantly, though, those scholarships go to students who are awesome!

I’ve just obtained a new certification in Generative AI with Large Language Models from DeepLearning.AI and Amazon Web Services.

It was great to travel up to HBS for the Climate Symposium this past weekend. The great slate of panels and participants created some outstanding opportunities for an exchange of ideas--and to fly the AES flag a little bit, especially for our MBA summer internship program. I saw dozens of students expressing interest and talking about the future of the electric grid. Do you know what would be even better than talk?
