Our manufacturing site in Taloja, Maharashtra, was recently awarded with the ‘Zero Accident Club’ award, and the team used the opportunity to give back to the community. As climate change and environmental challenges persist, #WorldEnvironmentDay reminds us of the importance of reducing carbon emissions and embracing our environmental responsibility. We aim to improve the environmental footprint of our operations and products whilst maximizing the positive impacts for our stakeholders, consumers and society. In addition to our actions on carbon neutrality, energy efficiency, and waste reduction, here are steps we've taken towards land restoration, stopping desertification, and building drought resilience: 💧 In 2023, we completed water risk assessments for all our manufacturing plants in India, helping us manage water usage more effectively. 🌾 This year, we are developing water stewardship plans for three of our manufacturing plants in India to build drought resilience in the area of operations. 🌳 Additionally, all our sites are undergoing biodiversity risk assessments based on the Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures (TNFD) guidelines to address potential impacts on local ecosystems.
