As climate change and environmental challenges persist, #WorldEnvironmentDay reminds us of the importance of reducing carbon emissions and embracing our environmental responsibility. We aim to improve the environmental footprint of our operations and products whilst maximizing the positive impacts for our stakeholders, consumers and society.   In addition to our actions on carbon neutrality, energy efficiency, and waste reduction, here are steps we've taken towards land restoration, stopping desertification, and building drought resilience: 💧 In 2023, we completed water risk assessments for all our manufacturing plants in India, helping us manage water usage more effectively. 🌾 This year, we are developing water stewardship plans for three of our manufacturing plants in India to build drought resilience in the area of operations. 🌳 Additionally, all our sites are undergoing biodiversity risk assessments based on the Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures (TNFD) guidelines to address potential impacts on local ecosystems.   Learn more about our 2030 ambitions and our ongoing efforts to minimize our environmental footprint here: https://lnkd.in/d2RHx8aA #WED2024 #ClimateAction #Biodiversity #CircularEconomy

Our Q1 2024 results are now published. 📈 Reflecting on the performance, Mr. Dhananjay Salunkhe, Managing Director, shared,” Despite facing challenges stemming from softer demand and external supply chain dynamics, we've shown resilience in our operations. Though revenue saw a decline due to these factors, our EBIT % increased marginally to 6.7%. One of the highlights of this quarter was the commissioning of our new blueloop™ facility at our Silvassa plant.
