1wIt is not in the best interests of Big Pharma to keep all shelves stocked. Keeping a shortage keeps pricing high and ensures maximum profits prior to the end of the products patent which in turn drops pricing significantly. It is strictly business decisions that unfortunately affect people’s lives in an adverse way whether in pricing or availability.
