We had the honor of hosting a “Welcome Home” celebration for four remarkable students from California’s Orange County School of the Arts (OCSA). These talented kids clinched the first-place title at the National ProStart Student Invitational in Baltimore, proudly representing Team California! 🏆 Supported by the California Restaurant Foundation (CRF) and with us proudly serving as the sponsor, OCSA’s students Tira, Emily, Cynthia, and Max wowed the judges with their winning restaurant concept, Teddy’s. Their innovative idea? An all-day breakfast restaurant nestled near a fictional college campus. The celebratory dinner, attended by the students, their parents, teachers Paola Costa and Daniel Mattos, as well as members of Habit’s corporate team and California Restaurant Foundation, was filled with speeches, stories, hugs, laughs, high-fives, and, of course, lots of burgers. Additionally, we gifted the students custom tote bags filled with culinary-themed gifts from our Director of Culinary Innovation, Chef Jason Triail, along with complimentary burger gift cards and Habit swag. They also received an impromptu huddle on restaurant marketing from our Head of Digital and Storytelling, Ken Chan. Congratulations once again to Tira, Emily, Cynthia, and Max for their incredible achievement! We’re beyond proud to have played a part in their journey to culinary stardom. Here’s to many more successes ahead! 🍔 #HabitHeroes #TeamCalifornia #ProStartChamps
