Dallas Foundation Fundholder Kay Winzenried recently joined our staff for an update and construction tour of Metrocare Services' future Mental Health and Disability Innovation Center at Hillside. As the largest provider of behavioral health services in Dallas County, Metrocare provides same-day access to psychiatric care regardless of ability to pay. The 45,000-sq.-ft. Mental Health Clinic will serve as the centerpiece of Metrocare’s new campus where children, adults, families, veterans, and those with disabilities will receive integrated, evidence-based care in a dignified setting that fosters healing. In recognition of #MentalHealthAwarenessMonth, The Dallas Foundation applauds Metrocare’s county-wide leadership in mental health, developmental disabilities, and substance abuse services, as well as our many fundholders who, like Kay, are helping to make this new facility possible. #HereforGood
