What resonates : The experience in Sapa highlights the beauty of simplicity and the joy of contentment. When we're surrounded by nature's beauty and immersed in genuine experiences, material luxuries become irrelevant. It's a powerful reminder that true happiness often lies in appreciating the little things and finding contentment with what we have. When we cultivate gratitude and embrace simplicity, less becomes more than enough.
One of our best hiking trips was in Sapa, North Vietnam. It was the first time we stayed in a remote village. The room had a clean bed, blankets, mosquito net and not much else. Not quite a Park Hyatt. Do you know what I missed? Nothing. If we were in a 5-star hotel, I might whine that it did not provide L'Occitane shampoo. But the truth is after a 7-hour hike all I needed was a hot bath, a big dinner, and a clean bed. And for a few extra bucks, I'll take that cold beer too! When we have much, we still want more. But when we are contented, less is more than enough. Agree?

Heading for the beach? 🌴🏖️ When visiting Miami Beach, there are some important things to keep in mind to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience. 🏄☀️😎 Here are 7 Essential Tips You Need to Know Before Visiting Miami Beach! 1. Safety first. Always pay attention to lifeguard flags and warnings. Miami Beach can have strong currents, so it's important to swim where lifeguards are present and obey their instructions. 2. Sun protection. Miami Beach can get very sunny, so bring sunscreen with a high SPF, sunglasses, and a wide-brimmed hat to protect yourself from the sun's rays. Reapply sunscreen regularly, especially if you plan to be in the water. 3. Stay hydrated. The heat in Miami can be intense, so drink plenty of water to stay hydrated, especially if you spend a lot of time in the sun. 4. Pack smart. Pack beach essentials like towels, beach chairs, umbrellas, and a cooler with snacks and drinks. Many condo hotels offer beach services or rentals, so you may be fine without bringing everything. Check the list of options here: https://lnkd.in/esHSvG6 5. Respect rules. Familiarize yourself with Miami Beach's specific rules and regulations. For example, some areas may have restrictions on alcohol, and some beaches may not allow pets. 6. Timing. The beach can get crowded, especially during weekends and holidays. If you prefer a quieter experience, try going early in the morning or weekday. 7. Explore beyond the beach. While the beach is a major attraction, don't forget to explore other parts of Miami, such as the Art Deco Historic District, Little Havana, the Wynwood Walls, and the Everglades. While doing some reading preparing for follow up appointments for the House of Representatives to vote in favor of P of S 1395 for the creation of the Marine Reserve Jardines Submarinos de Vega Baja y Manatí I get this data that is extraordinary. I have left the link so you can read it in its entirety. How much do reef visitors spend in Puerto Rico? Data were collected for both the entire trip and the portion spent within Puerto Rico. The largest categories were Lodging, and Food and Beverage. Lodging includes hotels, campsites, and rental properties. Food and beverage includes items purchased in stores and restaurants or bars. In total, visitors spent nearly $534 million on lodging, of which nearly 84%, or $446 million, was spent within Puerto Rico. Nearly 100% of the total food and beverage Food and beverage were made in Puerto Rico. In addition, visitors spent nearly $17 million on diving and snorkeling, with 75%, or nearly $13 million, was spent within Puerto Rico. Unlike food, which is perishable Food, which is perishable, diving or snorkeling equipment could have been purchased prior to arriving on the island. In total, visitors spent nearly $1.8 billion on travel-related expenses, and $1.4 billion of these total expenditures were made in Puerto Rico. Nearly 30,000 jobs are supported by what reef visitors spend. In addition, nearly one billion dollars in labor income is generated, and nearly two billion dollars in output or gross domestic product. These numbers do not include those visitors who stay on the island for other reasons or those who engage in recreational activities unrelated to reef use, recreational activities by Puerto Rico residents or commercial fishing. https://lnkd.in/eMBncJ_p

To help with the success of your holiday let you should understand your target market and think about the current trends in your area. What type of guests would you like to attract? ⚫ If you're appealing to families, offer toys and beach equipment if you are located by the coast, plus ensure the property is child friendly without things that could be easily broken. ⚫ If you're looking for guests with dogs, offer holiday dog tags, food bowls, and throws to put on your furniture. An outside area like a garden or courtyard would be ideal. What places of interest or services are nearby? ⚫ Are there historic properties or sites that might appeal to older groups. ⚫ Are there fun parks and swimming pools for families with children. ⚫ Good walks and picturesque countryside might appeal to couples with dogs. ⚫ Recommend local restaurants, pubs, theatres and cinemas. Finally, always assume this is the first time your guests have visited the area. . . . #shorttermrental #holidaylets #commercialproperty #holiday #holidaylet #holidays #holidayseason #propertymanager #propertyinvestor #travel #vacation #weekendbreak #holidayletsafety #holidayletcompliance #familyholiday #holidayletlandord #holidayletuk #holidaylettings #ukholiday #holidayaccomodation #ukholidayaccomodation #landlords #propertycompliance #propertymanagement #ukholidaylet #staycationuk #ukholidayhome #ukholidayrentals #airbnb #safeukation
