TikTok is changing how companies market their businesses. T Brand partnered with TikTok to spread the word about the game-changing resources their platform offers and focused on showing, not telling. We created a lively, animated post that shows off everything TikTok delivers to business owners. Our feature story highlights first-person tales from @unclefluffycafe, @carpetrepairguys and @naturalannieessentials, successful entrepreneurs who’ve grown their brands—and have a lot of fun—on TikTok. We also broke down helpful tips and strategies to guide business owners as they introduce and/or market their brands. To wrap up this article we provided readers with additional resources to ensure they understand the breadth of opportunities and support available via TikTok.

*LAUNCH* In partnership with NYDIG, T Brand created a museum-inspired look at the history of currency to clearly explain Bitcoin’s evolution as a form of money. We brought this story to life through seven hyper-realistic 3D objects, including everything from a cowrie shell, to a gold nugget, all the way to Bitcoin.  The objective? To clearly explain Bitcoin’s progression and establish NYDIG as a trusted partner in the world of cryptocurrency, a platform that many investors don’t fully understand or trust.  The Art Direction focused on creating a digital exhibition, using 3D illustration we created an immersive experience full of dimensionality, motion, and surprise. A rotating light source within the 3D space highlighted some of the beautifully detailed intricacies of each object. From the hairline scratches in soft metals to the aged wood grain of a Van Gogh picture frame.  This work was challenging, educational, and developed into something we are all extremely proud of! *LAUNCH* Back in 2019, The New York Times and Verizon began a collaboration, which included the creation of the 5G Journalism Lab as an extension of The Times’s R&D team. Since then, The Times’s R&D team has been developing and testing new technologies that help journalists capture more immersive images and grant readers a firsthand perspective on breaking news. The newest of those technologies is Eclipse, an app that leverages Verizon 5G to expand video journalism and transmit professional video files at exceptional speeds. T Brand’s recent launch, 'When Headlines Comes to Life,’ demonstrates how this important milestone for The New York Times impacts not only our journalists but our readers. Featuring behind-the-scenes field tests conducted by The Times’s R&D team and original reporting, we explain Eclipses' practical application and contextualize its value. I am insanely proud of our growing team who continues to bring these custom experiences to life in new and exciting ways. Excited to share the launch of “The Evolution of Speed." In this piece, T Brand digs into the history of photojournalism and the creation of BEAM, a proprietary photo app from The New York Times that, since its inception in early 2020, is streamlining how New York Times photojournalists work in the field. From attaching a single, undeveloped roll of film to the leg of a homing pigeon, to sending photos from a red carpet in Los Angeles to the newsroom in New York in a matter of seconds. Through innovative design, and creative problem solving, we were able to create a fully immersive and interactive reader experience. We used scroll-initiated visual metaphors and interactive page animations to evoke the idea of transmission and speed in many ways throughout the article.
