Salesforce is celebrating 25 years this week! 🎉 I've been at the company since the beginning, and I still remember the early days. We had a really bold vision to create a new kind of a company, a new technology model, a new business model, and a new philanthropy model, which was centered on prioritizing the community. That is what inspired the 1-1-1 model: 1 % of our people's time 1% of product and 1 % of equity. To date, we've give over $700M in strategic grants, 8.7M volunteer hours given by our employees, and 56K nonprofits and higher education institutions powering their missions on Salesforce. The impact is beyond what we could've ever imagined. In reflecting on what the next 25 years will look like, it’s about scale – and AI will be critical to our strategy. If you think AI is disrupting business, imagine what it's doing to schools, educators and students! And if we think about AI and climate change, there is so much we can do – we're seeing some incredibly innovative ecopreneurs who are leveraging AI around things like energy optimization, wildfire mitigation, and forest conservation. So grateful to help celebrate this major milestone ❤️ Read more reflections on our 25th anniversary:
Congratulations on 25 years of innovation and impact! It’s truly inspiring to see Salesforce's vision come to life with the 1-1-1 model. The potential of AI in areas like education and climate change is incredibly exciting, and we're eager to see how Salesforce continues to lead in these efforts. Here's to many more years of transformative growth and community-driven success!
About 24 years ago after a long hard campaign, I persuaded the rest of the execs at nCipher plc to go for this new-fangled, dodgy cloud CRM Salesforce: they were reluctant because "security". The company had just burned $$$ on some on-prem solution that didn't work. 😎
Incredible journey! Incredible impact 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
I've been in this ecosystem for more than 13 years. Started as a developer, became an architect, got into RevOps, and now running my own company. In all, I've seen half of Salesforce's journey up close and the growth has been amazing. Kudos!
Congrats on an amazing journey!
Your impact is incredible! Wow 25 years!
Congratulations on this milestone

5moHappy 25th bday to Salesforce and considering that this is prob the 25th promo post I have seen in the last few days, also want to wish a happy ~4th bday to my blocking mail from these IPs saving HOURS/week of touchpoint/outreach/check-ins/follow-up etc.. Unlike Sinch Mailgun, SF makes it easy and pubs these right on their site. </gratitude>
