I will be speaking on a panel at Natural Products Expo West discussing "Relationships in Sourcing Medicinal Plants" moderated by Ann Armbrecht of the Sustainable Herbs Program. We will be at Marriot, Elite 1, on Thursday the 14th between 4-5 pm. I can't wait to discuss with Josef Brinckmann from Traditional Medicinals, Elise Higley from OSHALA FARM, LLC, and Erin Smith from Banyan Botanicals about their work to establish and maintain the type of relationships needed to truly use business as a force for good while also fulfilling the rigorous demands of sourcing high-quality herbs in a global context. We will share specific practices we have implemented, challenges that have arisen, and concrete ways we have addressed these issues. Hopefully, you will come away with concrete examples of how to better steward relationships with their suppliers and competitors as well as broader insights into how the herbal products sector as a whole can better care for the plants, the people, and the planet. I may also share a new FairWild Foundation project that Nuherbs is working on. If you are coming to Expo, reach out, so we can schedule some face time or visit NuTraditions booth 3578 in Hall D.
I’m looking forward to attending this session with some excellent speakers with a wealth of knowledge!
Should be a great panel!
If there is anyone who can build great relationships amidst the supply chain, it is you Wilson! I wont be at Expo West, but I know for sure this is going to be excellent! #supplychain #supplychainsolutions #supplychainexcellence
I love the topic, I’ll do everything in my power to get there.
Looking forward to this!
This session sounds amazing. Hopefully we can get a chance to catch up.
Wilson, I saw you from afar at ABC celebration, but did not get to say "hi." Best, Tony
I will be there as well as at the AHPHA meeting!
Sounds like this will be a great session Wilson Lau
