As women’s history month draws to a close, I’m reflecting on how strong of a role model my mother has been to me. This is a picture of her graduating from Government Law College in Mumbai, India in 1964. One of only 11 women in a class of 59. As I look at this picture, recently discovered by my parents, it's impossible not to feel a sense of pride for the trailblazing journey my mother embarked on and paving the path forward for my sister and me. #WomensHistoryMonth #RoleModels #Trailblazers

Visited the Apple Store today to pick up my Apple Vision Pro and was directed to a store specialist- Jack. Jack is a gentleman in his mid-70s. While waiting for the device, I was curious to know his thoughts on Apple Vision Pro. Jack said he was legally blind. However, he was able to modify the accessibility settings to adjust to his good eye so that he could use the product. He had been blown away by the experience! What struck me more than his joy over the product, was his passion for working with Apple. Jack told me that he had waited 20 years to be hired at Apple. And he finally got the chance at this very historic moment of the Apple Vision Pro launch! To work in the store after the isolation of the pandemic, and getting to experience the customer’s surprise and delight, was everything to him. Walking out the store late in the evening with the Vision Pro box, Jack walked me to my car for safety. His act of kindness was a touching reminder of the culture we have at Apple. It is experiences and stories like these, that make me feel proud of working at Apple every day. Super thrilled to get my first Intellectual Contribution Award for "Leading Effective Teams" course at Stanford University Graduate School of Business. The course taught by Brian Lowery, was insightful, introspective and at times, a huge wake-up call as a leader, to lead teams the right way. I’m feeling accomplished, fulfilled and much grateful!  My final project for Business Model Analysis- one of the toughest assignments for Stanford Lead course- was selected as one of the top three projects for innovation, thoroughness, quality of analysis and value to other participants.  When I first decided to go to business school, I felt like a fish-out-of-water as a person who’s spent her entire life in the creative field. I was held back by my own fear to contribute, to participate in discussions and offer unconventional suggestions. After having completed the LEAD certification, and as I continue my education forward, I feel a bit more confident and my fear has released me to experiment with crazy ideas, to contribute no matter how unconventional my suggestions may be, and to move forward, even if I may falter here and there.  To those who are intimidated by business or anything that is out of your comfort zone- face that deep-rooted fear of feeling like a fool, be incredibly kind to yourself if and when you falter, open to receiving  kindness from others and keep moving forward even if you may feel like “an imposter” every now and then.  There’s no growing without staying hungry and staying foolish! :) A big thank you to Haim Mendelson for teaching an especially tough course in such an elegant and inspiring way. And to my course facilitator Austin Ramsland for your guidance and encouragement along the way. Thank you to Shimol Shah and Julien Delvat. Your feedback was invaluable!  And finally, to the LEAD peer community- you have been incredibly kind to me with your “yes, and...” to my crazy ideas. Thank you and congrats on finishing another stimulating and challenging course! #stanfordgsb #stanfordlead #stayhungry #stayfoolish
