SGS on site! 🏗   We are honoured and proud to contribute to the metro C station in Piazza Venezia!   SGS designed the shielding consolidation works to protect the surrounding buildings which comprise: piles/microp-piles combined with polyurethane and cement injections and we led the cavern design for the approaches to the station and railway interchanges. 🚇 It has been very challenging and rewarding to work on such an amazing project in the centre of Rome!

🚧🏗️ Update from SGS! (from an Italian project this time 😁) 🔍 Our team recently had the opportunity to conduct an on-site visit at the Poggio Tondo tunnel excavation site, which is an integral part of the nationally Grosseto-Fano and in particular of the section Grosseto-Siena E78 project. 🚧 Exciting update on the Westlink project in Gothenburg! Our geotechnical and structural engineers, designers of this ambitious tunnel have recently conducted additional on-site inspections to check the status of the works. The Westlink tunnel will house the new railway line in the heart of Gothenburg, near the picturesque gote Alv river.
