Our tax credit & impact finance attorneys advised the Florida Community Loan Fund in a federal new markets tax credit transaction benefiting the Boys & Girls Clubs of Sarasota and DeSoto Counties. Partner Brian Weaver and attorney Nicole Johnson assisted FCLF in structuring the financing for a new facility in North Port, Florida, as well as negotiating terms and ensuring compliance with federal regulations. As part of the project, the Boys & Girls clubs will be able to rebuild and expand their facilities, after being significantly damaged by Hurricane Ian, and continue to provide a safe space and enriched learning environment for hundreds of children. This affiliation, effective July 1, 2024, will expand Liberty Hospital's access to high-quality health care for current and future patients residing in Kansas City's Northland and Northwest Missouri.
