As a strategic partner of Singapore's Home Team Departments including the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF), we play a pivotal role in co-developing innovations that meet the evolving needs of Singapore’s #safety and #security. Unveiled at SCDF’s 2024 Workplan Seminar, the Traffic Priority System (TPS) features #tech contributions by our Mobility Road team, in collaboration with SCDF, HTX (Home Team Science & Technology Agency) and the Land Transport Authority (LTA) Singapore. Our expertise in Vehicle-to-Everything (V2X) technology and smart #traffic systems plays a crucial role in enabling emergency responders to enhance response time in critical situations while improving safety for road users. The system, which will only be activated for life-threatening medical cases like cardiac arrests, helps SCDF emergency ambulances safely obtain right of way at traffic junctions within the “final mile” of casualty conveyance towards a hospital, contributing to improved patient outcomes. ➡️ More on our Smart Mobility capabilities: https://lnkd.in/gre4pmFg Capable of Beyond Visual Line of Sight (BVLOS) flights, our unmanned aerial solution, DroNet, is being trialled by SCDF to enhance the latter’s operational response during emergency siutations. We’re strengthening our partnership with Safran Aircraft Engines with a new two-year agreement to provide module repair offload support on the CFM LEAP-1A and LEAP-1B engines. This latest collaboration addresses the growing demand for #LEAP engines maintenance by augmenting Safran Aircraft Engines’ capacity and optimising the turnaround time of engine shop visits for customers as they ramp up their flying operations. ✈️ Further to this, we are also reinforcing our support to Safran Aircraft Engines in LEAP-1B engines maintenance offload services.
