Joining us in October 2023 as a New Business Broker, Andrew Mitchell, cyRM brings his specialization in Cyber, Professional, and Executive Liability coverage. He has a rich background in handling business on the wholesale side, particularly in the areas of Municipalities, Education, and Technology industries.   Andrew's expertise includes the development of a wholesale insurtech startup and his experience extends to small business insurance through a retail agency in Charlotte. He is an alumnus of Appalachian State University with a degree in Insurance and currently resides in Charlotte, NC.   At SWIS, Andrew will be concentrating on middle-market risks in the Technology, Education, Manufacturing, and Non-profit sectors, utilizing his extensive insights in the cyber liability domain.   Please join us in extending a warm welcome to Andrew!

We are excited to welcome Nick Gargan to the SWIS family! Nick's impressive journey in the insurance industry, particularly in the Construction Vertical, equips him with a unique blend of expertise and experience that will greatly benefit our team. During his previous tenure in a leading insurance brokerage firm, Nick played a crucial role in handling national project/account placements for prominent Developers, Owners, and Contractors. His exceptional skill in brokering high-value construction projects is evident from his track record of significant premium placements in recent years. His specialization in large retention dual-line casualty wrap-up programs and loss-sensitive corporate programs has earned him wide recognition. In his new role at SWIS, Nick's profound understanding of the construction and development sectors will be invaluable. He is poised to offer insightful market knowledge and experience, further enhancing our business opportunities with retail partners. Nick's focus will center on collaborating with retail teams to understand and meet individual account needs, aiming to exceed client expectations with timely market updates and strategic insights.
