But in Japan metro riders are treated with fully composed 7-second jingles that are uniquely written for each station. Imagine if such a creative and innovative idea was applied here๐Ÿ’ก (Are you watching DSB and The Copenhagen Metro and Greater Copenhagen Light Rail?) Meet Minoru Mukaiya โ€“ the man behind these melodies at over 110 stations in Tokyo. Itโ€™s one of my (many) favorite things about train travel in Japan. Not only is it great for the train company brand (JR East) itโ€™s also great for accessibility.
