Our Global Leadership Team recently joined together for a fulfilling afternoon of volunteering and engaging in sustainability discussions where the team made impactful visits to Make Food Not Waste, Sanctuary Farms and Marrow Detroit Provisions. These visits reinforced our commitment in giving back to our local communities across the globe as we accomplish our goal of 50 acts of giving for our 50th anniversary at Shape Corp. The team processed strawberries, contributing Make Food Not Waste's mission of reducing food waste and slowing climate change, experienced how food waste was transformed into compost using sustainable farming methods that support Detroit’s natural ecosystem and learned about the work being done to develop a sustainable food system in the Great Lakes region through ethical eating, collaboration, and innovation. This experience was a powerful reminder that even small efforts can make a significant impact. We're thrilled to announce the grand opening of our new facility in Alabama! Today, Shape Corp. marks a significant milestone in our 50th anniversary year with the inauguration of our second Alabama location. Located in Southpoint Industrial Park, our 202,306 sq. ft. facility is set to bolster the automotive industry's growth in North Alabama. This expansion not only increases our production capabilities but also reaffirms our commitment to innovation, economic growth, and community development.
