Our Global Leadership Team recently joined together for a fulfilling afternoon of volunteering and engaging in sustainability discussions where the team made impactful visits to Make Food Not Waste, Sanctuary Farms and Marrow Detroit Provisions. These visits reinforced our commitment in giving back to our local communities across the globe as we accomplish our goal of 50 acts of giving for our 50th anniversary at Shape Corp. The team processed strawberries, contributing Make Food Not Waste's mission of reducing food waste and slowing climate change, experienced how food waste was transformed into compost using sustainable farming methods that support Detroit’s natural ecosystem and learned about the work being done to develop a sustainable food system in the Great Lakes region through ethical eating, collaboration, and innovation. This experience was a powerful reminder that even small efforts can make a significant impact.
