Not a work update per say, but a gratitude post. In the state of Colorado parental leave is 12 weeks, meaning I’d be back to work this week after welcoming our second son. Extremely thankful that I work at Salesforce and I’ll be halfway through parental leave next week. Having this time with my sons is something I’ll never stop being grateful for. I hope more companies offer parental leave like Salesforce to allow parents to be the best version of themselves when they come back to work. Sawyer might be the most grateful 🫶🏽

This is so true. My experience as a working mother to a young child a decade after having my first was vastly different and much less anxiety inducing because I work for the state of California which values a much longer parental leave than most other states within this country.
