Head of Operations @ Rise at Seven

One of the most underrated tools in a leadership teams toolbox? A conversation. Having issues with behaviour? A conversation with the individual will always help over a new blanket company policy. Wanting to nip some rumours in the bud? An open conversation with the team members involved is usually the route to take, not vague company comms that dance around the subject. Conversations are great at addressing the root cause of issues, meaning your not reacting to the consequences of any inaction or trying to deflect the issue through policy changes. Aim for empathy and understanding over not giving people to option for them to be heard every time. #OperationalExcellence #PerformanceCulture #AgencyLife

The difference between a good leader and a bad one is communication. You also have to think about what communication works best for your team
