Nearly 12 months ago, I sold my (fully paid off) yurt to chase a dream. Here’s what I learned about following your ❤️ This process lead me to insane amounts of personal growth I never thought possible. But It also lead me to… • Change the entire trajectory of my 20’s from homesteader-plant-medicine-dude to techy entrepreneur. • Move 6 times. Including 2 new towns/cities. • Start 2 business (1 that failed). • Get in the best shape of my life and put on 22lbs of muscle. • Have countless mental breakdowns. • (And even more breakthroughs). • I went from farmer… • to voice actor… • to social media manager/videographer. • I went from being depressed… • to realizing how awesome life is. If you’re still reading this, here’s what I learned: Life isn’t A ➡ B. It’s an iterative process. It’s more like A.1 ➡ A.2 ➡ A.3 ➡ B. So don’t expect to get it right the first time. Instead, try this: 1. Make a decision (and stick with it) 2. Try it out 3. Learn from the process 4. Iterate 5. Repeat ✨ Allow yourself to be surprised by what happens ✨ I hope your journey's smoother than mine!

I was briefly chatting with a friend the other day, as they are on their entrepreneurial journey in Real Estate. They are very intelligent, resourceful, diligent, honest, and a bonafide hustler! I think very highly of them and adore them. They were talking about the range of emotions they are going through, and all I could think of is this - take it all in! Taking it all in is like keeping your eyes on the prize, no matter how bumpy the road gets. Every loss, every tiny win, they're all part of the bigger picture. It's about not getting bogged down by the rough patches or getting too caught up in the small victories. Sure, the setbacks can hit hard, and the little successes can feel like a breath of fresh air, but they're not the end game. The real deal is to stay locked in on that big goal ahead. Think of it like keeping your head in the game, even when the score isn't in your favor. It's about learning, growing, and pushing forward, because what really matters is where you're headed, not just where you're at right now. If you don't "take it all in", you can easily lose focus and doubt yourself, which could lead to a downward spiral, unfortunately crashing. A crash some never recover from. Side hustling isn't for everyone. And that's perfectly fine. Having a side hustle definitely won’t be the right choice for these people: - Extremely busy with job and family commitments already - Need to focus fully on excelling in current career - Strongly value work-life balance and free time - Satisfied with current income and schedule - Don't actually want to run any business - Don't enjoy self-directed work Entrepreneurship requires a certain drive and character. Without the desire and capacity for side hustling, any attempt will likely fail.
