'Taking The Lead' by Mexican Dj/Producer ZEZART is part of the official soundtrack of the new Electronic Arts (EA) F1 24 game. What makes this extra special is that ZEZART is one of the winners of the annual World’s Biggest Demo Drop contest that was held during Amsterdam Dance Event 2023. The World’s Biggest Demo Drop, organized by Spinnin' Records, is known to give up-and-coming producers a chance to take their talents to the next level during the label’s hunt for the next big music sensation. With Spinnin' A&R managers & artists judging the contest, Spinnin' Records announced 'Taking The Lead' as one of the winning tracks, resulting in an official release. The sync placement in F1 24 now helps the release to be exposed to a broad worldwide gaming audience.

Fallout, S01, E06. 00:36:57 The background music swells with a recognizable tune. It's the Fallout theme, from Fallout 3, composed for the game by Inon Zur. For me, the show hasn't truly felt as much like Fallout until this moment. There isn't anything in the show's score that is as recognizable as this original theme. Music in games is so important, and having a recognizable theme becomes core to an IP. Game devs -- invest in your soundtracks!

I am always so touched and impressed by the involved and inspiring influence Jack Wenzinger has in the way his two boys gain a highly professional outlook for skill development, networking, personality development, and always working on self-improvement. The amount of work Gunnison Wenzinger and Geddy Wenzinger have invested in the past few years to gain certifications in a diverse area of explorations that all tie together in the evolving fields of game development, virtual production, and artificial intelligence is astounding. Hats off to team Wenzinger! I am a fan. #virtuallearning #certification #achieveyourgoals #selfimprovement #careergoals #education #virtualproduction #artificialintelligence #gamedevelopment #unrealengine #epicgames #aritst #technician #aws #cloudarchitecture
Update on #homeschoolcollege. My youngest Gunnison has been working to support a local Rush tribute band Rush Archives here in Colorado. Most bands have a similar AV guy that's using a laptop and winging it in the dark. He's modified his setup to use a Wacom Cintiq with Vmix to use it as a portable broadcast board. He's also using using Epic Games, Blackmagic Design, and generative AI to create new visuals for the music. Great stuff!

https://lnkd.in/e6wuhGrk I have had this idea for a while, and what better way to actually implement it than under pressure? One Song a month for 12 months, utilising the strict capabilities of the hardware the music is made on. Essentially, game soundtracks from alternative realities that never existed!!! "Alterniverse" is a monthly music endeavour that transports listeners into parallel dimensions through the nostalgia-laden sounds of chiptune game soundtracks. Each instalment is a testament to the creative fusion of retro-gaming nostalgia and alternative universe storytelling, meticulously crafted with careful consideration of the original hardware. Over the course of twelve months, "Alterniverse" unfolds an eclectic journey through three distinct realms, each captured through the distinct audio capabilities of classic gaming hardware. The journey begins with "Storms of Arcadia," an adrenaline-fueled sci-fi shooter set in a distant galaxy, pulsating with the raw energy of the Sega MegaDrive's distinctive sound chip. Next, "Scarlet Mansion" beckons from the realm of the Super Nintendo, inviting players to explore its mysterious halls and unravel its enigmatic secrets through haunting melodies and lush sample-driven orchestration. Finally, "風の歌 Kaze no Uta / Song of The Wind" (only released in an alternate universe Japan) whispers through the speakers of the Nintendo Gameboy, transporting listeners to a serene world where the melodies of nature dance harmoniously with the minimalist charm of the handheld console. With each release comprising four evocative tracks, "Alterniverse" promises a captivating auditory odyssey, inviting listeners to lose themselves in the boundless imagination of alternative realities.

New Post: ‘Rock Band 4’ updates to halt as developer focuses on ‘Fortnite Festival’ - https://lnkd.in/g-TT-3FJ - After eight years of weekly releases, Rock Band 4 DLC updates are stopping next week. READ MORE: ‘Persona 3 Reload’ is shaping up to be a must-play remake The news was announced in a post on developer Harmonix‘s blog. “After over 8 years of weekly Rock Band 4 DLC releases, we’re here to let you know that January 25 will be the last DLC release of the RB4 era,” the post explains. “All other live services will continue as normal, including Rivals seasons , online play, and everything else.” Rock Band 4 was released in 2015, and DLC has been released weekly for the game since it was launched. Over 3,000 songs have been released over the years as DLC, with the soundtracks from previous Rock Band titles available to people who have previously imported the licences for the games. The official announcement also explained exactly what to expect from Harmonix in the future, now that they won’t be working on Rock Band 4. Fortnite Festival. CREDIT: Epic Games “Looking ahead, the Harmonix team has been hard at work over the last two years to develop Fortnite Festival, which brings rhythm action gaming (and more) to the Fortnite ecosystem. It’s free to play, we have a rotating selection of songs that you can play (for free) anytime,” the blog post explains. “Fortnite Festival is the place to be; and with support for RB4 instruments coming, this is not the time to hang up your guitars just yet…” Fortnite Festival, Harmonix’s latest game, was released in December 2023 and is completely free. Players can team up with their friends, using skins purchased in Fortnite to represent themselves in the band. Unlike Rock Band 4, however, songs are rotated so that there are constantly different songs available. In other gaming news, a new Xbox system software update has fixed a save-destroying Baldur’s Gate 3 bug. My first touch in video game development. More precisely, the goal was to practice creating music and sound effects in this industry. To do this, I created a virtual space for the character. Fairly schematically. Depending on the zone the character enters, the intensity of the music's dramatic effect changes (peace, intrigue, thrill, fury), as well as the sound of footsteps, depending on the surface (grass, sand, dust, brick). It wasn't easy, but it was very interesting. I continue to delve into this topic. https://lnkd.in/eN397Enm

🎶 Corporate culture lessons from pop music...Taylor Swift Edition: "You play stupid games, you win stupid prizes." - from Miss Americana and The Heartbreak Prince There will always be people around you at work who seem like they are "playing the game" better than you. Maybe they over-promote themselves and don't share the credit and it feels like it's working in their favor. Or maybe they are only kind to the people above them and it seems like no one else can see it. Do some people "get away" with playing these games for a really long time? Definitely. Does it always come back to bite them? In my experience, yes. In some way or another, we all have to reckon with the way we behave, the games we play and the impact we have. Design the "game" you play in accordance with your values. The prizes are better.

Software Engineer & Developer | Technical Artist & 3D Generalist | Unreal Engine | Music Videos | Director-Producer | MetaHumans & Digital Twins
I was given the opportunity to play with my favorite technologies and tools (MetaHumans and Unreal Engine) to create a full-length music video. I'm super grateful to Tal Tirangel, Roy Kafri, and Ori Shochat for their trust. Instead of sharing clean post-rendered shots from the video, I thought it would be funny to share the more chaotic side of the creation. Link to the full clip in the comments below <3

AjaxX is in the process of building an interactive music machine in #Fortnite where the players can help produce the music to his songs. Here is an example of what the machine might look like and also an experiment in syncing the vocal track using the Cinematic Sequencer Device in #UEFN. With the exception of the vocal track, all sounds and programming were exclusively made using only #Patchwork devices.
