People may claim that direct mail is making a comeback… And they’re completely wrong. Because direct mail never stopped working. Like any marketing medium, you have to be smart and choose the right vendors… But it’s always been working, and it still is.

Cooking doesn't work. Going to the grocery store, buying some ingredients, and turning on the stove yielded dry chicken, an upset stomach, and an overall terrible experience. I tried it again another time and it still went poorly. Cooking does NOT work for me and my household! ...see how insanely ridiculous that sounds? That's what I hear about direct mail, from Marketers time to time. Did you have anyone with legitimate (and I mean really legitimate) expertise guiding you through the "cooking process"? Did you have the right "ingredients"? Did you use the right amount of each ingredient, at the exact right time? ***If I told you that you could have a personal chef cook gourmet meals for your family AND teach you the skills how to do it, for just a few dollars more than you're paying now (or maybe even less), would you do it?... In case you haven't caught on, I'm not really talking about cooking. Let's chat about direct mail.

This month is 3 years at CohereOne. Some of the biggest life changes happened in that “brief” 3 year span. And by “happened”, I mean actively worked towards to improve our quality of life. Joining CohereOne was a HUGE piece in that mission. Finding a work culture with peers, Executives, and Owners that ALL embody what a healthy work culture should look like sure “hits different”, as the kids would say. Here’s just a few highlights: -Left New York after 33 years and moved to Charleston, SC…9 months of great weather makes life MUCH easier -Built a house -Got Engaged -Got married in Charleston -Got a puppy…a crazy puppy named Cannoli -Wife left corporate America and made the leap to start her own business -Got my best friend and his family to move down to Charleston While there’s ups and downs, the important thing is always working towards creating a better life for your family. Cheers to a other 3 years…and then some 😎.
