Already recognized as the first to establish 3D High Dose Rate (HDR) Brachytherapy and the first to deploy advanced radiotherapy planning modalities like VMAT and IMRT in the country, we are excited to announce another pioneering achievement: the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) into cancer treatment planning with the Radformation's Autocontouring software, AutoContour. The AutoContour software is an advanced AI-driven solution designed for radiation oncology and radiotherapy treatments, generating fast and accurate contours. Equipped with 200 of the most common structures pre-loaded, this software initiates the planning process, ensuring rapid implementation for treatment planning-ready contours in under 30 seconds. The introduction of AutoContour signifies a significant advancement in our radiation therapy treatments. It streamlines the process from CT simulation to treatment, enhancing our already deployed advanced treatment modalities, and thereby improving patient care. This step aligns with the NSIA: Nigeria Sovereign Investment Authority's (NSIA) vision, realized through Medserve - NSIA Advanced Medical Services Limited, to provide access to cutting-edge oncology services and deepen the overall oncology care ecosystem.
