Our award-winning Virtual Power Plant (VPP) platform will play a critical role in helping us meet some of the most ambitious clean energy goals in the country, in partnership with our customers: http://ms.spr.ly/6044Y7bSs Since our launch last fall, we’ve engaged over 300,000 customers in programs to reduce or shift energy usage during periods of peak demand on the system. In addition to smart thermostats, we’ve introduced managed EV charging and will soon expand to other customer-owned devices like water heaters and batteries.

A big milestone in our Beaver Creek Wind Project as the first wind turbine has been fully assembled. Over the next few months, 87 more turbines will be erected in Stillwater County, Montana. The wind farm is the latest addition in a growing list of renewable energy resources PSE is acquiring as it works toward meeting Washington State’s Clean Energy Transformation Act (CETA) goals for 2025 and beyond. Thanks to our Green Power and Solar Choice participants, the Family Support Center of South Sound installed a 50.20-kilowatt solar array on its new 62-unit permanent housing and supportive services facility.
