Prairie Island Indian Community’s Post

Prairie Island Indian Community employees had the opportunity to spend the day at Mt. Frontenac last Friday for an employee fun day! Despite the rainy weather, employees were still able to participate in golf and bingo for prizes and enjoy a couple of delicious meals! 

Thank you to the AAUW - Red Wing Area Branch for recognizing Prairie Island Indian Community Land and Environment department, PIIC employees and all of the PIIC community members for their efforts in supporting and organizing the Honoring Dakota Project and Food Sovereignty. We were honored and proud to accept the Judy Christianson Citizen of the Year Award yesterday.
