Phase 2 of the SMS Subscriber Lifecycle is Engagement. 🗣️ When you build rapport and trust with subscribers through engagement, you convert more of those subscribers into new or repeat customers (that's just simple mathematics). This is why SMS must be personalized and contextual. You won't continue earning your subscribers’ attention with formulaic promotional messages. Don't text AT your subscribers; text TO and WITH them. This year, we’ve released a couple of features in Postscript to help you engage effectively: 1. High Intent Subscriber Filters allow you to segment subscribers who have viewed a specific product, started a checkout, created an order, or added a product to your cart within a designated time frame. These are your prime candidates for converting, and this filter helps you tailor messaging to them and accelerate those checkouts. 2. Subscriber Attribute Splits are now available in automation flows so that brands can split subscribers during an SMS flow based on the segment(s) they belong to. This allows you to customize the messaging of each flow based on the customer journey (e.g., new sub, existing sub, high-value sub, never purchased, etc.). Our biggest release is coming July 24.
