Glad to start day 2 of Ericsson OSS/BSS summit with representatives from 70+ different worldwide operators discussing about delivering the 5G experience

Many years ago I had the privilege to work on the Advanced Intelligent Network in the States. At the time we had a dream: to build the "windows platform" for telco, i.e., exposing a Service Creation Environment that could make everyone a telco service creator. That didn't happen for a number of reasons. Now with standardized network APIs it is becoming a reality. There is no question that APIs are innovation and rapid growth enablers. This is why I feel so excited for #Ericsson's partnership with Deutsche Telekom to offer communications and network APIs to developers and enterprises.
