Breaking #news! 🤝 Ericsson is collaborating with AT&T to revolutionize their network modernization, expand 5G coverage and capacity, and support future #5G advanced capabilities. How? The Federal Law requiring infrastructure to be made in America and Ericsson being the first to achieve this in manufacturing has forced this. The fact that competitors jumped to 5G using restricted brands, this contract locks production priority to AT&T. With AT&T and its subsidies including the Tillman Holdings Companies owning the majority of cellular towers requiring these upgrades all the MVNOs such as Verizon benefits as they are leasing bandwidth from AT&T. The other side to this coin is the Federal grants and funding as this will be seen to improve National Infrastructure Security.

O-RAN based network modernization introducing 5G at massive scale where AT&T is expecting their 70% of wireless traffic to Open-interface architecture by 2026, will not only diversify the supply chain giving an opportunity to new players but will spark next level innovation much needed in RAN space.
