One of my favorite parts of my job is partnering with businesses around the world to drive transformative growth! At Google for Brasil, our team announced that we contributed more than R$188 billion (US$35 billion) to the Brazilian economy in 2023 through Search, Ads, Play, Cloud, YouTube, and our other services. This is absolutely amazing! I’m really excited about the opportunities we can create from our continued investment in Brazil - which includes an AI acceleration program for startups, anti-theft features for Android devices (creatively named “modo ladrão” or “thief mode” by the Brazilian press), digital skills training, and new Search experiences that allow users to contact businesses more seamlessly.
