Trusted value chains, understood from raw material extraction through final distribution, are the key to resiliency, security, efficiency, fairness, and growth. World Customs Organization Deputy Secretary General Ricardo Treviño Chapa highlights well the key importance of scalable understanding of supply chains to economic growth and national security. Modern technology, including AI, presents novel opportunities to understand and manage complex global value chains at scale. We are fortunate to have new tools to work with and understand an increasingly fragmented world.
