To help protect our team from excessive heat exposure, we’re starting at 5am this week, earlier than normal, so we can get our work done and our team home before the late afternoon heat. Luckily, the heat wave ends today, and we can get back to more normal summer weather through the end of the weekend and into next. #Staycool

It was a hot weekend and temperatures are into the triple digits through the early part of the week. We’re starting an hour earlier than normal so we can get our team home in the early afternoon before it gets hot.

Once again supporting the Hillsboro Rotary Fourth of July parade, working with a soccer team from the Hillsboro soccer club, handing out SOLVE garbage bags for people to put their garbage in that will pick up at the end of the parade. Happy Fourth of July.

As we anticipate hot weather this week and into the weekend, we've conducted refresher training to protect our team. We've adjusted schedules, provided ample ice and water, and instituted additional breaks to manage the heat. During training, we emphasized staying hydrated, recognizing heat-related signs, and wearing appropriate gear for comfort and safety. Communication is key, so team members are encouraged to voice any concerns promptly. These efforts aim not only to safeguard health but also to maintain productivity and morale. We're committed to ensuring a safe and supportive workplace, even in challenging weather. Stay cool and have a safe and happy Fourth of July! 🎆
