A client told us our candidate was too EXPENSIVE So we sent them a CV with LESS experience Then they told us they don't have enough experience 🤦♂️ So we sent them a CV missing a few of the skills on the job spec But they told us they don’t have all the skills required So we sent them someone else who had many years of experience AND all the skills on the JD But the client told us they were WAY too expensive You see, what they wanted was a Ferrari, for the price of a Fiat Yeah…cos that's just how the world works 🤣🤣 #recruitment #recruiterlife #telecoms

This scenario is my BIGGEST pet peeve and bone of contention!! Followed closely with : Potential new client under no circumstances will go anywhere near a recruitment business. We're pond scum and 'rip off artists'. All company directors and senior management concur. 2 months down the line - ut oh - the Sales Director and Commercial Manager have been fired and get in contact immediately requesting some help finding them a new job. Absolute LOL!!!!
