Nyctea participated in the BioTools Innovator Virtual Pitch Event!   BioTools Innovator is an accelerator intended to support entrepreneurs that are developing a broad spectrum of biotechnology products, platforms and services that are enabling the future of healthcare.   We are proud to be one of a few selected companies for the event. It was a great opportunity for us to pitch and get feedback from investors and industry leaders and also to meet really interesting emerging biotech companies! 

Nyctea is happy to announce that Armaghan R. has joined our team as Research Assistant! ⚡⚡   She recently graduated from Gothenburg University where she wrote her Master thesis on a project about analytical electrochemistry in cells. We are thrilled to have her on the team as her skills and experience will be highly useful in the continued development of the Nyctea platform for improved purification of Advanced Therapeutical Modality Products such as cell and gene therapies! 🧫🧬   Welcome onboard Armaghan!

Hanna Tranchell is joining Nyctea as Project Manager! ⚡⚡   We are very happy that our talented MSc thesis student from Chalmers tekniska högskola is joining us full-time.   We look forward to continuing building products for efficient purification of biopharmaceuticals with you! 🚀

Nyctea Enters Research Collaboration with AstraZeneca!   We will apply our Nyctea® platform technology to improve the purification process for a drug compound in AstraZeneca's Research and Development program.   This is a Big milestone for Nyctea - our first collaboration agreement with a biopharmaceutical company. Nyctea has a new team member! ⭐   We are thrilled to announce Christine will perform her Master Thesis project with us! She holds a BSc in Biochemistry from Virginia Tech and was working in the medical device industry before starting the Biotechnology program at Chalmers.   She will evaluate Nyctea’s product for non-invasive purification of new biopharmaceutical modalities using electrochemistry. Together we are pushing the boundary of fast and cost effective production of biological pharmaceuticals. 🦉 ⚡ 🧪🧫   Christine, what is most exciting about your Master thesis project at Nyctea? 🗨 Learning a new subject! Electrochemistry is a topic I’ve heard about but it’s only been passively relevant in my courses and I’m excited to become more familiar with its nuances and roles in biological systems. Happy to have you onboard Christine! 🙌
