Last week in Marrakech, Morocco: Our 2024 teambuilding and training event was a huge success: We onboarded 15 new PV techs and had the whole team of 46 people taking a training class in safe driving, including practice in the desert! Huge thanks to the organizers and our trainers! Classes consisted of Theory classes, Simulator training and real desert driving to map out the limits and how to react to stay safe. Over the weekend; Marcelle Jordaan (TMIE Aust), our Manager Operations & Optimization walked over 35km to raise funds and awareness to mitochondrial disease (mito). Mito is a debilitating, fatal disease which robs the body’s cells of energy, causing multiple organ dysfunction or failure. Mito can affect anyone at any age; affects 1 in every 4,300 peple making it one of the most commonly diagnosed genetic disease affecting thousands of kids and adults, and there is no cure.
